To execute and manage engineering projects, leading staff, as required, to achieve agreed objectives.
Principal Activities- Performs design, applications, engineering and project management activities.
- Leads/Assists in development and analysis of Qualification/Verification Test plans, setups and reports.
- Provides technical leadership and direction for given project.
- Executes the work in accordance with good engineering practices to ensure a technically compliant and safe product that meets all applicable standards and statutory directives that apply to our industry and type of product.
- Provides sales and commercial support appropriate at all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Contributes to business improvement activities, specifically Kaizen events and problem-solving activities.
- Executes the work in accordance with good engineering practices to ensure a technically compliant and safe product that meets all applicable standards and statutory directives that apply to our industry and type of product.
- Provides technical support for production, including product troubleshooting, drawing updates and MRB activities.
- Shares knowledge well with others and may assist in mentoring new engineers.
Experience:
- Experience using Solid Works (required).
- Experience with Hydraulic and/or pneumatic valves or products. (recommended)
- Familiarity EPDM or other Product Data Management system. (recommended)
- Understanding of industry standards for configuration and document control.
- Project delivery - at or within agreed project timeline.
- Experience with Technical Writing.
- Experience conducting tolerance stack-ups.
- Familiarity with DFMEA, VAVE, DFM, DVP&R, CM and Risk Assessment.
- GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering relevant subject, and 5(+) years of relevant experience.
