Risk Manager/Analyst, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have an Escrow Officer opportunity with an Independent Escrow Company specializing in Purchase and Refinance Transactions for Residential and Commercial Properties. Servicing all of Southern California.
The Escrow Officer is responsible for the below specific duties below.
Your specific duties will include:- Provide temporary support to the office in the role of Escrow Officer.
- Review, prepare, and approve escrow instructions, settlement statements, and disbursements.
- Maintain compliance with California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) regulations and company policies.
- Work closely with real estate agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers to resolve issues and ensure excellent client service.
- Monitor workload distribution and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Handle complex or high-volume escrow files as needed.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Escrow Officer; prior management or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of independent escrow operations, regulatory compliance, and real estate transaction procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in escrow software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- High attention to detail.
- DFPI Escrow Officer License.
- Notary Public commission.
- Experience with FPS Summit software.
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
