Speech Pathologist​/Therapist Per Diem

SPEECH PATHOLOGIST/THERAPIST PER DIEM – Corona Regional Medical Center, Corona, CA

Per Diem position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation Services, this role provides diagnostic, evaluative and therapeutic procedures for treatment of adult and geriatric patients disabled by illness or injury with the goal of optimizing functional restoration and rehabilitation. Speech and language treatment for patients is a core responsibility.

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide evidence‑based speech and language therapy interventions.
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and document treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient rehabilitation goals.

• License to practice speech pathology by the California State Board of Medical Examiners, or RPE/CFY applicant supervised by a licensed Speech Pathologist following state and ASHA guidelines.
• Current BLS (CPR) certificate required.
• Certificate of clinical competence (ASHA) required for supervisor of graduate student or RPE/CFY applicant.
