Job Summary:

We are seeking a Family Law Paralegal to provide critical legal support to attorneys in our fathers’ rights practice. In this role, you will handle essential casework, assist in legal research, and communicate directly with clients while ensuring all legal documents and filings are managed efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and assist in case analysis.
  • Prepare, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing case materials, drafting motions, and preparing witness lists.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other involved parties.
  • Manage case files and documents, ensuring accurate organization and maintenance of physical and electronic records.
  • Support attorneys in depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • 0 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in the family law field.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
