Environment: Aerospace Manufacturing (AS9100 Certified)
Pace: Very Fast-Paced Job Shop Production
Reports To: Production Manager & Management Team
This role works in a high-speed aerospace manufacturing environment where accuracy, efficiency, and consistent production flow are required. After training, employees must perform at the established fast-paced output level while maintaining quality standards.
Essential Duties:- Maintain strong attendance and punctuality
- Set up punch presses (Pancake Dies; some Progressive Dies)
- Set up each job using Routing Reports and engineering drawings
- Select and use assigned tooling for each job
- Pull tooling and prepare setups for upcoming jobs
- Operate the punch press safely and efficiently
- Read and follow Routing Report instructions accurately
- Work efficiently with the ability to multitask
- Perform work with minimal supervision
- Keep up with a high-paced job shop production environment
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Good handwriting for documentation
- Basic computer skills are a plus
Required:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Additional common measuring tools
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable punch press setup and operation experience
- Experience must align with the qualifications listed above
