Job Duties

• Perform deburring operations using hand tools, power tools, sanding equipment, and tumble deburring machines.
• Set up and operate deburring equipment according to work instructions and specifications.
• Load and unload parts, deburring media, cleaners, and drying materials.
• Read job orders and tooling instructions to determine required deburring processes.
• Inspect finished parts visually and by touch to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
• Notify leads, supervisors, or quality personnel when corrective action is needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain production flow and meet established performance goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Cross-train in other departments and assist with additional production tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Area Lead, Shop Manager, or management team.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
• Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Experience Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, deburring, sanding, polishing, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow job orders, work instructions, and production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring or inspection techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced job shop manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to cross-train and support multiple production departments.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand and work for an entire 8-hour shift or longer as needed.
• Frequent use of hands for sanding, deburring, handling parts, and operating tools.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and production standards.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and wearing required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
