The role reports to the Director of Medical/Oncology/Surgical and/or designated supervisors and charge nurses. Duties include assessments, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation and documentation of adult and geriatric patients. Counseling and education for patients and families. Overall responsibility for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including the supervision of all categories of nursing personnel.

• Current California R.N. license
• BLS (CPR) certificate required through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire required
