Registered Nurse (RN) PACU

Part‑time position located at Corona Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Corona, CA

Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Recovery Room Registered Nurse receives patients from the Operating Room and other ancillary departments. The RN monitors vital signs and makes necessary interventions as prescribed, within the scope of nursing, by surgeon or anesthesiologist. May also assist in transport of patients to outpatient surgery and surgical floors, assist with monitoring of IV sedation and local cases in the Operating Room, and provide competent care for patients throughout the lifespan, from infancy through geriatric.

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 259‑bed community hospital network comprised of an acute care hospital and a rehabilitation campus.

It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

• One year Critical Care or PACU experience or basic Coronary Care Class with hemodynamic experience required.
• Age specific education and/or experience.

• Current CA Registered Nurse license required.
• Current BLS (CPR), A.C.L.S and P.A.L.S. Certificate required.
