LPN/LVN Locked Acute Adult Psych Unit – Full-time Position:
Monday – Friday 3pm-11:30pm

Corona Regional Medical Center is seeking an LPN/LVN for our locked acute adult psychiatric unit. The role reports to the Nurse Manager and Director of Behavioral Health Services and requires accountability for the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for patients assigned to care.

• Provide direct care and nursing evaluation to patients with serious and persistent mental illness.
• Utilize specialized knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, terminology, and charting to deliver quality nursing care.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurse and assume relief Charge Nurse duties as needed.
• Implement behavior management and safety protocols to prevent escalation.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment/plan of care.

• Knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, terminology, and charting.
• At least 2 years of experience with clients with serious/persistent mental illness, preferably inpatient.
• Current California LVN license.
• Current BLS (CPR) Certificate.
• Assaultive Behavior Management Training required within 90 days of hire.
