Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Subacute position

This is a Full time, Day shift position located at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital in Corona, CA. The Corona Regional Medical Center® was founded in 1965 and has evolved to meet the growing needs of the community. The 238-bed community hospital network includes a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. Corona Regional Medical Center is certified by the Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

• The LPN/LVN practices under the direction of the professional RN.
• Implements nursing care for assigned patients and assists the RN in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Demonstrates competency in basic patient care skills, clerical stocking, phlebotomy, specific patient care duties, and other departmental duties as requested.
• Actively demonstrates a passion for patient care while providing service recovery if needed and displays service excellence at all times.
• Follows the standard of care as defined within the scope of Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse and reflects the American Nurses Association’s Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Nurse Practice Act.

• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California.
• Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
