Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Recovery Room Registered Nurse receives patients from the operating room and other ancillary departments. The RN monitors vital signs and provides interventions as prescribed, assists with transport to surgical floors, and supports IV sedation monitoring in the operating room. The role provides competent care across all age groups.

- Assist patient transport to outpatient surgery and surgical floors.
- Assist in monitoring IV sedation and local cases in the operating room.

- One year Critical Care or PACU experience or basic Coronary Care Class with hemodynamic experience.
- Age‑specific education and/or experience.
- Current California Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS (CPR), ACLS, and PALS certificate.
