Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Subacute Position

Job Type: Part Time

• Practice under the direction of the professional Registered Nurse (RN) and implement nursing care for assigned patients.
• Assist the RN in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Demonstrate competency in basic patient‑care skills, clerical stocking, phlebotomy, and specific patient‑care duties.
• Assist with departmental duties as requested and support overall care delivery.
• Follow the standard of care as defined within the scope of Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse and reflect the American Nurses Association’s Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Nurse Practice Act.

• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required through the American Heart Association.
