Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Subacute

Full Time NOC position located at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital in Corona, CA.

Reporting to the Director, the mental health worker/certified nurse assistant will assist in the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADL's, promoting wellness, health/education and clearly documenting patient activities. Responsible for adult and geriatric patient's personal hygiene, ADL's, vital signs, application of ice bags, K-Pads, assist patient with TC and DB and use of incentive spirometer and providing a safe and comfortable environment for their patients.

They provide emotional support to their patients and document their interventions.

• Assisting with ADL's
• Promoting wellness, health/education, and clearly documenting patient activities
• Providing personal hygiene assistance for adult and geriatric patients
• Taking vital signs
• Applying ice bags, K-Pads
• Assisting patients with TC and DB
• Using incentive spirometer
• Providing a safe and comfortable environment
• Providing emotional support
• Documenting interventions

• Must have current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
