Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Subacute
Per Diem position located at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital in Corona, CA

Reporting to the Director, the mental health worker/certified nurse assistant will assist in the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, promoting wellness, health/education, and clearly documenting patient activities. The assistant will be responsible for adult and geriatric patient personal hygiene, ADLs, vital signs, application of ice bags and K‑Pads, assisting patients with TC and DB, using incentive spirometers, and providing a safe and comfortable environment.

They provide emotional support to patients and document interventions.

• Assist with ADLs and personal hygiene for adult and geriatric patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Apply ice bags and K‑Pads as prescribed.
• Assist patients with TC and DB and use incentive spirometer.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
• Provide emotional support and document all care interventions.

• Must have current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required through the American Heart Association.
