Critical Care Nurse Educator – ICU

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based practice to clinical and non‑clinical staff.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and new skills, equipment, and processes.
• Validate competency for all disciplines.
• Conduct onboarding for new team members in all areas.
• Lead training programs:
  Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshop, CNA Workshops, Critical Care Orientation Series, ICU/SD New to Specialty Programs.
• Attend departmental meetings as needed.
• Coordinate with various clinical departments and manage projects.

• Understanding and knowledge of educational techniques and adult learning principles.
• Effective communication with all staff, physicians, leadership, and ancillary staff.
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth among employees.
• Flexibility to work varied hours to provide education to all shifts.
• Preferred knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, email and the electronic medical record.

Five years of full‑time experience as a licensed Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a hospital setting.

Preferred: experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in acute care.

BSN Required.

Master’s Degree Preferred.

Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of California.

Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
