What You’ll Do:
As a Fleet Technician‑Senior Level, you will work under general supervision to diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical problems in accordance with standard repair practices and compliance guidelines. You will perform preventive maintenance inspections, road test vehicles, and mentor lesser qualified technicians.
Job Duties:
- Advanced knowledge and full understanding of Heavy‑Duty Electrical systems utilizing the proper Diagnostic Tools
- Able to identify the root cause of failures/conditions on all systems and components along with performing the repairs as required
- Major component rebuilds and replacement experience in engine, transmission, and axle systems
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and road tests.
- Comply with all Federal and State compliance guidelines.
Job
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in automotive/heavy truck maintenance.
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License (preferred).
- Prior training or experience in heavy‑duty electrical systems diagnostics.
- CFC 609 Certification.
- Basic welding skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to pass post offer drug test, physical and background check.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Compensation:
- Base Pay: $38-$45/hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Full Time position
