Responsibilities

The Orkin Pro commits to safely and professionally providing the highest level of protection and service to customers on a designated service route.

  • Complete award‑winning training to learn all necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
  • Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and keep the vehicle and equipment clean.
  • Conduct yourself with utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
  • Serve as a problem ­solver for each customer, listening to and understanding their needs and recommending the most efficient and innovative solutions.
  • Meet customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that give them peace of mind about their pest management.
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property.
  • Communicate with customers to explain actions taken and discuss additional services.
  • Complete all required service‑related documentation on a handheld device.
Qualifications
  • No experience required – we train you to be a Pro.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
  • Ability to work independently, manage route‑based assignments and interact with customers inside businesses and/or homes.
  • Physical job requirements: safely use a ladder, occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs., access crawl spaces and confined spaces, wear PPE and work in various weather conditions.
