We are looking for Laborer to join out team! This position will be responsible for performing various physical labor duties on construction projects.

Responsibilities

* Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task

* Properly follows all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment

* Reports any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager

* Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials withshovel

* Follows direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite

* May be called upon to run small power tools such as jack hammer

* Digs, spreads, and levels construction materials

* Lifts, carries and holds material, tools and supplies

* Maintains regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required

* Other duties as assignedSafety

* Responsible for ensuring OSHA standards and company safety policies are complied with at all timesincluding but not limited to operation of tools, equipment and machinery

* Corrects unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisorimmediately

Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent

* 1-2 years' experience working in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with water or sewerutilities

* Must be able to work in confined spaces

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately to learn products, processes,safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, including whole numbers, commonfractions and decimals

* Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral ordiagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
