Account Associate - Commercial Lines

Insurance Office of America

Hybrid: 1‑2 days in office at one of our California locations (Aliso Viejo, Ontario, Pasadena, San Diego, Santa Barbara) or fully remote for Los Angeles County candidates transitioning to a future office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the account team with day‑to‑day administrative and customer service tasks.
  • Support team and receptionist operations.
  • Handle policy processing: endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, releases, check requests, invoices, and funding documents.
  • Manage billing inaccuracies and prepare submissions, ratings, proposals, and AOR letters.
  • Maintain accurate data in agency systems.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and activity monitoring.
  • Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
  • Deliver proactive, responsive service and meet quality standards.
  • Participate in team building and promote a positive work environment.
  • Adopt best practices and stay informed on company policies.
  • Enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • 2+ years of commercial lines experience or 5+ years in customer service.
  • Active P&C license.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary Range
