Job Title: Hourly Elementary Instrumental Music Teacher
Organization: Coronado Unified School District
Location: Coronado, CA
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Two days per week at Village Elementary School
Two days per week at Silver Strand Elementary School
Serving students in grades 2–5
Compensation: $60.00/hour
Position OverviewCoronado Unified School District is seeking an enthusiastic Instrumental Music Teacher to lead before-school music classes for elementary students in grades 2 through 5.
Responsibilities- Teach foundational instrumental music skills to elementary students.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that foster musical growth.
- Prepare students for group performances and showcase opportunities.
- Build a welcoming, inclusive environment for young musicians.
- Experience teaching instrumental music to children (preferred).
- Proficiency with one or more instruments; ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- No teaching credential required—passion and experience are key.
- Competitive pay at $60/hour.
