Responsibilities- Oversee and ensure warehouse staff adheres to policies and procedures set forth by the company.
- Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews, ensuring customer-service standards, resolving problems and identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Meet warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, and inputting data.
- Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Be knowledgeable of pertinent laws and applicable regulations.
- Attend and participate in MMS training and seminars as requested.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.
- Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers.
- Monitor automated warehousing system via operating computer to enter data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proven warehouse supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
- Hands‑on commitment to getting the job done.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Proven knowledge and application of codes, laws, and regulations.
- Must be able to pass background investigation and drug test screening.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- All specific certifications required by law.
- Must successfully complete all required courses, classes, and training provided by MMS.
Skills and Abilities
- Work as part of a team, as well as complete assignments independently.
- Work in a fast‑paced and customer‑service‑oriented environment.
- Perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Read and write legibly to complete required maintenance reports and requests, review manuals and operating instructions, read cautionary labels, and respond to written instruction from staff and residents.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
- Prioritize and manage daily workload to ensure successful completion.
- Exercise problem‑solving skills.
- Interact with co‑workers, supervisors, vendors, residents, guests, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week to include evenings and occasional overtime hours may be required.
- Requires routine squatting, walking, and lifting of no more than 50 lbs without assistance, with full range of motion.
- Must be able and eligible to drive a company vehicle for completing resident service requests, picking up replacement parts and supplies from warehouses and vendors, and inspecting grounds.
$36.06 - $40.87 per hour
