Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide clerical assistance to the Arts & Sciences Departmental Office.

Minimum Qualifications

Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

  • Greet customers and visitors.
  • Answer phones and take messages.
  • Refer visitors and callers to appropriate department and/or person.
  • Provide basic information to faculty, staff, students and the general public.
  • Maintain records of appointments and daily log.
  • Data entry.
  • Receive and distribute mail.
  • Maintain files of documents.
  • Scanning, photocopying and preparing of materials as directed.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Assist Program Coordinator with MAS Program Events.
