Overview Apply for the Construction Manager Trainee role a Construction Manager Trainee, you will assist in the supervision, coordination, and management of residential construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and homeowners to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with zero defects.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules.
- Enforce job safety requirements and conduct safety inspections.
- Complete punch lists and assist with new‑home orientation lists.
- Attend construction meetings, training classes, and site visits.
- Maintain job site cleanliness and assist with model/inventory maintenance.
- Address service‑related issues and support field operations.
- Collaborate daily with division personnel, subcontractors, business partners, and homeowners.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree or equivalent education preferred.
- Construction experience preferred.
- Fast‑paced, team‑oriented work environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Valid auto insurance coverage.
Regular, in‑person attendance at job sites and offices during work hours is essential. The role requires working more than eight hours per day in confined office or field environments, operating a motor vehicle, reading plans, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and moving items up to 50 pounds. Finger dexterity for computer use and compact work at a computer monitor for extended periods are required.
Limited travel may be required.
