The purpose of this position is to serve as a Piano Accompanist for the Del Mar College Master Chorus. This requires the Piano Accompanist to attend and perform for the Del Mar College Master Chorus during designated rehearsals, concerts, and other events.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate’s Degree in Music OR three (3) years piano accompanist experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
- Strong interpersonal skills while having the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Versatility in different collaborative settings, styles, and musical periods.
- Excellent sight‑reading skills.
- Physical ability that may involve lifting/moving objects weighing less than 40 lbs.
- Ability to be flexible in regards to working on, and attending, designated events.
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
