Cardiovascular Surgeon

CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline and CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their expanding team in Corpus Christi, Texas. The selected candidate will help build an integrated delivery network for cardiovascular surgery and provide care to heart patients at a premier tertiary care center. This opportunity offers a robust, Chest Pain Accredited cardiovascular program with options for program development in robotic lung and structural heart.

• CTC-Thomas Spann is a multi-specialty provider serving the Corpus Christi, Alice, Beeville, and Kingsville communities.
• Group consists of a network of 75+ primary care providers and 65+ specialty providers across a range of subspecialties.
• Extremely strong internal referral network alongside a 600,000 catchment area.
• Dedicated CVORs and team, CV ICU, single partnership for ICU, Hospitalist Medicine, and Emergency Medicine.
• CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline is a dynamic teaching facility featuring active Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine residency programs, alongside a brand-new multi-million-dollar Hybrid OR at our Shoreline Campus.

Responsibilities

• Build and shape the practice from the ground up, including the potential development of a local robotic thoracic program.
• Provide bread-and-butter CV surgery, structural heart, Watchman, and EP support.

Qualifications

• Must possess an unrestricted Texas Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the State of Texas.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in CV or CT Surgery.
