Job Description
Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide essential support for library functions and staff. This position may be required to work nights and/or weekends.
Minimum Qualifications: Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
- Effective communication skills.
- Dependable and reliable.

Job Duties:
- Assist patrons at the circulation desk.
- Deliver and pickup audio/visual equipment from classrooms.
- Maintain library materials on shelves and shelve returned materials.
- Answer phones, take AV equipment orders, take requests for library rooms, provide library information.
- Locate library materials for patrons.
- Open and secure library rooms.
