Job Description

Summary:

The purpose of this position is to provide essential support for library functions and staff. This position may be required to work nights and/or weekends.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
• Effective communication skills.
• Dependable and reliable.

Job Duties:

• Assist patrons at the circulation desk.
• Deliver and pickup audio/visual equipment from classrooms.
• Maintain library materials on shelves and shelve returned materials.
• Answer phones, take AV equipment orders, take requests for library rooms, provide library information.
• Locate library materials for patrons.
• Open and secure library rooms.
