Adjunct - Fire Science Pool

Open to candidates for part‑time adjunct in the Fire Science program. Candidates will be part of a continuous recruitment pool and will be contacted for assignments as needed. Positions are for one year; re‑application is required to remain in the pool.

• Set up equipment used for student skills development.
• Assist students with skills development.
• Evaluate students’ skills performance and report to the Lead Instructor.
• Maintain discipline during lab sessions and report misbehavior.
• Clean equipment as needed and replace it in the proper location.
• Perform minor maintenance/repairs to equipment and replace it in the proper location.
• Replace disposable supplies used in lab sessions.

Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the Fire Science field.

Experience in teaching.

Applicants must reside in the state of Texas and be eligible to work in the United States.
