In our Advanced Manufacturing Group, our team elevates our clients by delivering cost‑effective and transformative projects to the specialty chemical, electric vehicle, manufacturing, metals, pulp and paper and various other markets. We’re looking for an experienced, high‑energy, HVAC Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. You will work alongside our team of engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.

• Design HVAC systems layout.
• Develop design criteria for HVAC systems, including general comfort heating and cooling, temperature or humidity control, pressurization requirements, and cleanliness for cleanroom applications.
• Create conceptual and preliminary design documents with sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, and general arrangements.
• Produce final design documents including specifications, sequences of operation, duct/piping layout, and final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and related systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.

• Professional Engineering License.
• At least ten (10) years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely.

• Software experience in Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
• Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems.
