Join Jacobs as a Senior Structural Engineer (Data Centers) and contribute to exciting data center projects.
Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Work on a variety of data center projects including new builds, retrofits, and colocations.
- Perform analysis, create computer models, calculate member designs and foundations, and assist with schedules.
- Collaborate with diverse teams of engineers and designers across multiple projects and locations.
- Coordinate design and project delivery with internal and external stakeholders.
- Grow technically and professionally, expanding leadership roles over time.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
- Registered Professional Engineer, with ability to become registered in additional states.
- Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station, S3D) and structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD).
- Application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other design codes.
- Knowledge of building codes and MS Office, including Teams.
- Ability to travel 10–20% to client sites.
- Master of Science in Engineering.
- Experience with industrial metals projects (casting, rolling).
- Ability to lead teams and deliver on schedule and budget.
