Electrical Reliability Engineer

Corpus Christi, TX (Embedded in plant)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Predictive Maintenance:
  Implementing strategies to anticipate and prevent equipment failures before they occur, often using data analysis and monitoring techniques.
• Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM):
  Developing and refining maintenance plans based on the criticality and failure modes of electrical assets.
• Data Analysis:
  Analyzing equipment performance data, identifying trends, and predicting potential issues.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
  Investigating failures to determine the underlying causes and prevent recurrence.
• Asset Management:
  Managing the lifecycle of electrical assets, including their maintenance, upgrades, and replacement.
• Troubleshooting:
• Assisting with troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues, often in collaboration with maintenance teams.
• System Optimization:
  Identifying opportunities to improve the performance and efficiency of electrical systems.
• Monitoring Automation:
  Developing and enhancing automated monitoring systems to track equipment health and performance.
• Compliance:
  Ensuring that electrical systems and maintenance practices comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• 10+ Years of Experience
• BS in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with Electrical Reliability's duties listed above
• Professional License (Electrical) in the state of Texas is a plus
• Strong experience with ETAP or SKM Electrical Power System Analysis software is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivating, self-managing individual

Working conditions are as follows:
