Role:
Support regional project sites by preparing, modifying and reviewing piping designs, drawings, specifications, bills of quantity and design calculations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the design process for piping projects and ensuring drawings are delivered on time.
• Reviewing designs and providing feedback to the design team.
• Co‑ordinating with clients and other stakeholders on design matters.
• Maintaining complete records and documentation throughout the project.
• Assessing, mitigating and managing design risks.
• Ensuring designs comply with health and safety legislation, sustainable building standards (e.g., BREEAM) and industry codes of practice.
• Leading the design team, chairing design meetings, writing reports and giving presentations.

Other duties may be assigned as needed or directed by the supervisor or management.

• Minimum 5 years of piping design experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Refinery industry.
• Experience preparing design deliverables such as BOM, panel & cable schedules, 3D models, layout drawings, calculations for cable trays and trench sizing.
• Knowledge of CAD standards and ability to produce engineering and construction drawings.
• Ability to conduct site surveys, perform technical audits and quality reviews.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
