Employee‑owned HDR is currently seeking qualified individuals to provide project, geographic, and technical leadership in our growing coastal engineering and restoration program.
Our portfolio of award‑winning coastal projects showcases our team’s expertise across architecture, federal, transportation, and water resources. We lead solutions to the nation’s toughest coastal engineering and restoration challenges and are ranked #5 in ENR’s 2025 Top Water Design Firm rankings.
We seek coastal engineers skilled in:
- Analysis & design of coastal restoration projects, including marsh restoration and beach nourishment;
- Shoreline protection projects such as revetments and breakwaters;
- Navigation projects incorporating dredging, marinas, and harbor design;
- Creating plans, specifications, and project management.
Preferred expertise includes wave growth and transformation, coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics, littoral processes, sediment transport, marine dredging, and basic geotechnical or structural systems.
