High fashion, well established optometry practice is looking for a full-time optometric optical dispensary/technician/front desk. We are looking for a positive person that is eager to learn all areas of the practice. Responsibilities for the position include:
Optical dispensary involving aiding patients with frame selection and lens options
Front desk duties including verifying patient insurances
Preparing examination and treatment rooms
Patient case history
Perform accurate pre-testing and documentation
Perform special medical testing
Administering diagnostic eye drops
Follow up with patients
Contact lens training with patients
Previous experience in frame styling, selling glasses, and vision insurance is a must. Other optometric experience is helpful but not required. Patient care is top priority, so you must have excellent communications skills.
We offer paid vacation. Bilingual a plus. Pay based on experience.
