Lead Medical Receptionist

Conviva Senior Primary Care seeks a Lead Medical Receptionist to manage front‑desk operations, welcome patients, schedule appointments, maintain accurate records, and lead administrative support for the medical team.

Pay Range

Base pay: $39,000.00 – $49,400.00 per year. Pay is based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and visitors professionally, both in person and over the phone.
  • Manage appointment calendars, schedule visits, and coordinate with medical staff.
  • Maintain and update patient records in EMR and CRM systems, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Handle billing and payments, including collecting copays at time of visit.
  • Answer calls and respond to patient inquiries with courteous service.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well‑stocked.
  • Provide administrative support, monitor performance metrics, conduct team huddles, and assume center administration duties when the Center Administrator is absent.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for the receptionist team, offering training and guidance. May travel to support multiple centers.
  • Resolve issues, escalations, or complaints from patients or staff.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of medical reception experience.
  • Experience with value‑based care model, medical terminology, and EMR systems.
  • A passion for improving patient experiences and care.
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading a team or department.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Additional Information

This role is patient‑facing and part of the company’s TB screening program. TB screening will be required.

Working Hours
  • Scheduled 40 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
  • Schedule may change as per center needs.
