Lead Medical Receptionist
Conviva Senior Primary Care seeks a Lead Medical Receptionist to manage front‑desk operations, welcome patients, schedule appointments, maintain accurate records, and lead administrative support for the medical team.
Pay RangeBase pay: $39,000.00 – $49,400.00 per year. Pay is based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities- Welcome patients and visitors professionally, both in person and over the phone.
- Manage appointment calendars, schedule visits, and coordinate with medical staff.
- Maintain and update patient records in EMR and CRM systems, ensuring confidentiality.
- Handle billing and payments, including collecting copays at time of visit.
- Answer calls and respond to patient inquiries with courteous service.
- Ensure reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well‑stocked.
- Provide administrative support, monitor performance metrics, conduct team huddles, and assume center administration duties when the Center Administrator is absent.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for the receptionist team, offering training and guidance. May travel to support multiple centers.
- Resolve issues, escalations, or complaints from patients or staff.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of medical reception experience.
- Experience with value‑based care model, medical terminology, and EMR systems.
- A passion for improving patient experiences and care.
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
- Experience leading a team or department.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
This role is patient‑facing and part of the company’s TB screening program. TB screening will be required.
Working Hours- Scheduled 40 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
