Lead Front Desk / Patient Experience Coordinator (In‑Person)
$16 – $19 per hour, depending on experience.
Paradigm Wellness is South Texas’ largest wellness clinic for acupuncture and the recipient of multiple awards for Best Clinic for Fertility and Pain Management and is routinely featured on local and national news networks. A patient‑first wellness clinic built on calm lobbies, on‑time starts, patient experiences and outcomes, Paradigm Wellness has served over 30,000 patients across acupuncture, massage, and skincare and is currently expanding our operations to serve our community even better.
Our Corpus Christi location is growing, and we see patients dealing with pain, stress, chronic conditions, and overall wellness goals. We are tightening up our operations and are looking for an experienced front desk professional who can be the calm, confident center of the clinic.

The RoleYou’ll be the lead point of contact at the front desk and help us:
- Run a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience
- Keep schedules full and organized across multiple providers
- Train and support a junior front desk team member
- Protect the patient experience even when the day is hectic
This is not an entry‑level receptionist position. We’re looking for someone who can bring proven front desk experience from other clinics and lead a smooth, professional patient experience every day.
What You’ll Be Doing- Greet patients warmly and professionally, in person and over the phone
- Manage multi‑provider schedules, appointments, and follow‑ups
- Check patients in and out, collect payments, and handle insurance information where applicable
- Proactively rebook patients based on their plan of care (not just "Would you like to schedule?")
- Handle late cancellations, no‑shows, and difficult conversations with confidence and empathy
- Use and learn our EHR (Jane)
- Coordinate across acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, physical therapy and (soon) primary care
- Train and mentor a junior front desk teammate on scripts, workflows, and clinic standards
- Help ensure the front‑of‑house runs on time, clean, and organized
- Occasionally support in‑clinic product sales as part of the patient care plan
- You know our schedule, providers, and visit types without needing a cheat sheet
- Patients are routinely leaving with their next appointment scheduled
- Late cancels and no‑shows are handled professionally and consistently
- Providers trust you to keep their day on track
- You have 2–3+ years of experience at a medical or wellness front desk (multi‑provider preferred)
- You’re comfortable with a fast‑paced environment and can manage multiple things at once
- You’re naturally organized, detail‑oriented, and calm under pressure
- You’re not afraid to speak clearly and directly with patients when policies need to be enforced
- You enjoy building relationships with regular patients and being a familiar face
- You’re comfortable learning new software (experience with any EHR or practice management system is a plus)
- You like the idea of integrative care (acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, etc.) and want to grow with a clinic that’s expanding
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
