Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Corpus Christi, TX

This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the Labor & Delivery department at a healthcare facility. The role requires managing high-risk antepartum patients, assisting with C-sections, and supporting labor and delivery processes in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage high-risk antepartum patients and labor support
  • Assist with C-sections and manage COVID-19 patients in obstetric settings
  • Conduct labor and delivery procedures including routine and emergency interventions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a busy antepartum unit with 19 beds and a variety of staff
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications:
    
    International Federation of Midwives (IFM), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Education:
    
    Relevant nursing degree or diploma
  • Location:
    
    Ability to work in the specified geographic area
  • Experience:
    
    Minimum of 1 year in labor and delivery or related experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing COVID-19 patients during labor, C-sections, and antepartum care
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring (FM) skills
• Additional Information:
  • Dress code is royal blue scrubs; no t-shirts.
  • Possible work on four weekend shifts per month, with at least two mandatory weekends.
  • No on‑call required.
