Number of Beds – 15
Number of Staff –
Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 06:30 – = 3 RNs, 9am- 6:30pm EMT-P or Nurse Extern
- Night Shift – 5
  
  Pm-1am EMT-P and 3 RNs 18:30-06:30
Patient Ratios – 1:4 depending on acuity
Type of equipment – Baxter pumps, Hamilton vents, GE cardiac monitors, Stryker stretchers
EMR – Meditech

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for Must have

Compassion, Sense of Urgency, Team player
Skills in rapidly identifying Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke and Trauma

Preferred or nice to have

Experience with airway management/ventilators
Strong Critical Thinking Skills

List typical procedures performed on unit(s)

Splinting, wound care, IV-starts, medication admin,
Assessments, Re-assessments, documentation, oversight of EMT-Ps

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

BLS, ALS, TNCC, CPI or equivalent, PALS or ENPC,

Floating Area(s)

We have 5 ERs, typically staffed to core so most likely will not need to float

Dress Code

Scrub Color/Attire – Royal Blue, No hoodies

Unit Guidelines/Policies

Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Must clock out for lunch breaks and any time leaving the building as well as communicate to the CNC

Weekends and On call(if any)

Every other weekend, no on-call
