Generally, these courts would each be in a different county.
We set a fair amount of cases for jury trial, so this job would require court preparation along with video review and trial representation. Daily court preparation can be performed either at our physical office location (in central Austin) or at home.

- Ability to speak and translate Spanish
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas required
- Minimum 2-5 years criminal law experience in the state of Texas
- Jury trial experience required
- Familiarity with the Texas Transportation Code
- Ability to work independently
- Must be organized, detail oriented and have excellent written communication skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality must be able to work with clients, prosecutors, judges, etc
- Previous experience in Central Texas Counties courts, including Travis County, Hays County, and Williamson County, etc. would be preferred
- Previous experience with Class C Misdemeanor defense or prosecution is preferred
- Experience with Clio Case Management is a plus
