Responsibilities- Collaborate with medical, ancillary, and support staff to maintain nursing practice standards.
- Provide leadership as a Charge Nurse, coordinating delivery of nursing care, serving as a clinical and leadership resource, and modeling best practices for staff.
- Oversee RN staffing and patient care during the night shift, ensuring compliance with protocols and quality standards.
- Perform patient assessments, develop nursing care plans, and supervise staff scope of practice.
- Current RN license in Texas.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (ACLS required after 90 days, preferred initially).
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient medical‑surgical or critical‑care experience.
- Leadership experience as a House Supervisor or Charge Nurse is highly preferred.
- Comfortable with ventilator, tracheostomy, PICC line care, and other critical‑care equipment (preferred).
- Experience in emergency or critical‑care environments is preferred.
