* Schedule:

** 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, call may be utilized on scheduled shifts when census allows
** Highlights:**- 24-bed critical care unit with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios depending on acuity
- Advanced critical care environment with specialized equipment including vents, Swans, Impellas, and balloon pumps
- Opportunity to participate in complex procedures: intubation, central lines, bronchoscopy, EVDs, ICP monitoring, Swan placement, pacers, and bolts
- Structured team approach with Charge Nurse, RN staff, and unit support personnel on each shift
- Royal blue scrubs required
- May float to Doctors ICU as needed
** Requirements:**- Active RN license or eligibility to practice in Texas- BLS and ACLS certification required- ICU experience is mandatory – candidates without ICU experience will not be considered
- Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience preferred
- Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
