Licensed Vocational Nurse

Experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses are needed for a government contract opportunity supporting a specialized state-supported residential healthcare facility in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role is a strong fit for LVNs who enjoy hands-on nursing and are confident providing medication management, treatments, patient education, and advanced direct-care support in a structured clinical environment.

This specialized state-supported residential healthcare facility provides ongoing nursing and clinical services in an environment where patients may require consistent medical support and advanced hands-on care. LVNs work closely with Registered Nurses and nursing leadership to promote patient safety, continuity of care, accurate documentation, and reliable treatment delivery.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse will perform complex vocational nursing duties under the supervision of the Unit RN and Unit Nurse Manager. The role includes medication administration, treatments, medication education, clinical documentation, computer data entry, and advanced direct-care nursing support.

Schedule:

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend off
• Minimum 24-week government contract
• Start ASAP

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Texas LVN license
• Minimum 1 year of direct-care nursing experience
• 2+ years preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Valid photo
• Current TB documentation
• Ability to successfully complete required drug and background screening
• Ability to complete FBI fingerprint screening
• All required compliance must be completed before starting
