American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with CST certification for a fast-paced surgical unit supporting a wide range of procedures.

• Work in a hospital Operating Room with 11 ORs and 1 endo suite
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 11 techs; night shift includes 1 nurse and 1 tech
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses OR equipment including multiple ortho beds and 4 surgical robots
• EMR system is Meditech
• Typical procedures include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Trauma, Neurosurgery, Spine, ENT, and Bariatrics
• Monday through Friday schedule, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating weekend call required
• No floating required

• Active RN license (TX or Compact)
• CST certification required
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of recent OR experience required
• BSN and CNOR preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO candidates)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a variety of surgical specialties
• High energy and motivated personality is a strong fit for this team
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Unit policies and guidelines available via Policy Stat
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
