Kennel Attendant

Overview

Barkaritaville Pet Resort in Corpus Christi is hiring full-time and part-time Kennel Attendants to help us deliver top-notch care to the pets entrusted to us. Pay is $11.00-$13.00 per hour, based on experience. Weekend and holiday availability is required for both roles; if you cannot work at least alternating weekends and holidays, please do not apply.

We’re looking for dependable, energetic individuals who can work hard, take initiative, and always put pets first.

Shifts vary and include hours such as 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM, and 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM, with full-time (30-35 hours per week) and part-time (20-30 hours per week) options.

• Feeding, walking, and bathing pets
• Monitoring behavior and reporting any concerns
• Cleaning and sanitizing suites, yards, and common areas
• Scooping waste, mopping, vacuuming, and doing laundry
• Assisting with check-ins and check-outs
• Occasionally giving facility tours and updating pet records in our system
• Working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

This is a physically active position requiring bending, lifting, walking, and being on your feet for most of your shift.
