OSO CREEK FOOD SERVICE CATERER-WORKER POOL

Location: Del Mar College - Corporate Services

Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Salary: Minimum $10.16 per hour

Provide catering services to the college community and assist with daily food service operations. Responsibilities include scheduling, delivering food, setting up catered areas, and cleaning after events.

• Assist with planning and scheduling of catering events, determining client needs and preferences.
• Work with Food Service Manager to determine quantities and order supplies for each event.
• Deliver food and supplies on time, ensuring correct temperature and presentation, and load equipment into van.
• Set up events with proper equipment and food products.
• Break down equipment and clean up after each event; sanitize catering equipment and supplies.
• Assist with general food service operations: greet customers, operate cash register, restock merchandise, prepare and serve food, and maintain sanitary areas.
• Provide clerical support: answer phones, assist customers with catering questions, maintain calendars, receive and distribute mail.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Valid Texas Driver License; insurable by Del Mar College.
• Knowledge and ability to understand and follow basic operational, technical, cashiering and office processes.
• Basic food preparation skills.
