Crane operators must have industrial crane operating experience in a petrochemical or related industrial fabrication facility. Responsibilities may include:
Operating crane under supervision, inspecting crane on a routine basis, lifting, positioning and placing machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities, operating crane according to signals, placing blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads, reading load charts and calculating lift requirements per manufacturer requirements, and ensuring load is safely attached to crane prior to lift.

• NCCER or NCCCO certification for type of crane operator.
• Must pass Repcon Crane Operator and Rigging craft test.
• Current Basic Orientation Plus (Safety Council Card) or within 3 months expiration.
• Current TWIC card.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in your craft.
• Follow established job-site safety and work regulations, maintain a safe and clean work area; identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.

• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical.
