Field Technician – Ameritech Facility Services

Ameritech Facility Services is searching for Field Technicians to assist our retail and restaurant clients with building repairs. We offer competitive pay and benefits, and the opportunity for growth.

A full‑time, jack‑of‑all‑trades technician/handyman who can travel regionally (50–75%) and assist with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and general construction tasks. Candidates must have at least five years of carpentry experience and a basic understanding of the other trades. A background check is required.

Earn up to $60,000 per year as a Helper and up to $80,000 per year as a Technician, with pay potential based on projects completed.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair construction‑related issues in commercial buildings.
• Perform minor plumbing connections, electrical connections, roofing, concrete, stucco, fencing, asphalt, carpet, and tile repairs.
• Use basic tools and assembly instructions to complete jobs.
• Handle projects when needed, including heavy lifting, standing, bending, and reaching.
• Manage time, prioritize tasks, and follow special instructions and schedules.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Provide occasional evening or weekend work as required.

• Commercial construction experience (5+ years), preferably in restaurants.
• Ability to travel regionally (50‑75%) and possess a clean driving record with personal transportation.
• Own or have access to hand tools (drills, saws, hammers, ladders, cords, shop vac, caulking gun, etc.); specialty tools will be rented.
• Cell phone and basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills, ability to scan, email photos and use apps from a cell phone.
• Willingness to learn additional skills.
