HVAC Service Technician

• $22 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.

• Focus on commercial and industrial HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.

• Put your technical skills to work diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining existing HVAC equipment.

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support customers' service needs.

• Work with commercial refrigeration, split systems, packaged HVAC units, and classified explosion-proof systems.

• This isn't a basic HVAC installation job. You'll tackle technical challenges that require real diagnostic experience.

• Work on specialized commercial and industrial HVAC equipment in demanding environments where reliability matters.

• Use your knowledge and judgment to identify problems, recommend solutions, and deliver dependable service.

• Gain hands-on experience maintaining refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment used in industrial facilities.

• Work primarily in Corpus Christi, TX, servicing and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, split systems, and packaged HVAC units.

• Service and troubleshoot classified explosion-proof HVAC systems in industrial environments.

• Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related HVAC issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.

• Identify failing components, resolve equipment malfunctions, and restore systems to proper operation.

• Work in industrial facilities while following applicable safety procedures and site requirements.

• Navigate job sites that may require climbing ladders, kneeling, and working in loud environments.

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to address HVAC service needs.

• Focus exclusively on service, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance. No HVAC installation work is required.

• Fire certification is not required for this position.

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC service technician experience, with the ability to independently troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills involving commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.

• Experience servicing and maintaining refrigeration systems, split systems, and packaged HVAC units.

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related equipment problems.

• Ability to work on classified explosion-proof HVAC systems and follow applicable industrial safety procedures.

• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card for access to applicable industrial facilities.

• Ability to meet applicable industrial site access requirements, including a hair follicle drug test.

• Ability to climb ladders, kneel, and perform HVAC service tasks in loud industrial environments, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

• Ability to work primarily in Corpus Christi, TX, and surrounding industrial service areas.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, quality workmanship.
