Student Assistant - Intramural Sports - Kinesiology Pool

STUDENT ASSISTANT - INTRAMURAL SPORTS - KINESIOLOGY POOL

Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to assist in the daily operations of the intramural sports program.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Willingness to learn and take feedback promptly; strong organizational, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Kinesiology major (transcripts required with application)
• Officiating experience in basketball, volleyball, or football
• First Aid/CPR certification (documentation required with application)
• Knowledge and/or participation in intramural sports
• Basic knowledge of sports and rules

Job Duties:

• Promote events
• Set up and take down equipment for events
• Officiate games
• Perform basic office duties and other duties as assigned
