The Police & Fire Civil Service Board of the City of Corry is currently accepting applications for the Position of Part Time Firefighter. All applications must be received by the Board on or before 4pm on October 9, 2025 to be eligible for testing. Applicants will be required to pay a nonrefundable $25 test administration / processing fee at the time the application is submitted.
Applicants must be a citizen of the United States, a minimum of 18 years of age at the time the application is submitted, and cannot have reached his/her 65th birthday on the date of hire. Applicants must be in excellent mental and physical condition, be a high school graduate or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Certifications1001, 1992 edition, as designated by the Chief.
Application packets are available at the City of Corry Administration Building (100 South Center Street Corry, PA 16407) Monday through Friday during normal daily hours (9am-4:30pm). All applications must be received by 4pm on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
Firefighter Civil Service Examination is scheduled for Oct 11, 2025 and the Physical Agility Test is scheduled for October 16th, 2025.
