Location:

Jamestown, NY. Salary: $45,240.00-$45,240.00.

Requirements: 2-5 years experience in powder coating. Must be able to read engineering drawings and be willing to wear a respirator.

• Set-Up and maintain paint line equipment including wash, pre-treatment, and paint guns of a Nordson Color
  
  Max3 Powder Spray System while utilizing standard procedures to achieve desired results within quality standards.
• Spray a variety of finishes on simple and complex parts focusing on 100% coverage and complete defect‑free product (no blemishes, bare spots, or light spots).
• Maintain housekeeping of booths to ensure no contamination, sweep, pick up, shut down, clean & sort caps, hooks, trash, and crush boxes.
• Complete related paperwork.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Read, understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Read blueprints/specifications.
• Understanding of the application process in powder coating.
• 2–5 years powder coating experience.
• Ability to change according to QC requirements for coating.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Frequent physical functions including standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, grasping, and other unnatural positions.
• Ability to wear a respirator.
